Nutritional Supplements

Good nutrition: the key ingredient in the recipe for good health.

Nutrition sustains life and is also an important part of recovery—enabling our bodies to grow, develop, repair, and fight illness and disease.  For those in recovery who are unable to take in all the necessary nutrients due to dietary or other restrictions, we can customize nutritional supplements to complement the patient’s diet and work within their restrictions.

Our patient care managers oversee the nutritional supplement program with unsurpassed clinical and nutritional expertise, and our supplements are compounded to meet your individualized needs.

Our “One Team” Approach to Your Therapy

At IVMS, our comprehensive service offering and “one team” approach to healthcare ensures that the care and service you receive is always compassionate, coordinated, consistent, and hassle-free.  Because we have the ability to oversee your therapy from start to finish, the process is streamlined, allowing you to concentrate on what’s most important: your health.

Our individualized approach to your treatment provides you with the medications and therapies that are right for you—all customized for your unique needs.  If you elect to use IVMS after having used another provider, we help make the transition seamless and the care continuous.  If you are new to infusion therapy, we work closely with your healthcare provider to develop a treatment that’s just right for you.

Our patient care managers are on your side, and our staff of experienced pharmacists, nurses, insurance experts, and office staff are there to support you and your caretakers every step of the way.  Our services include:

  • Prescription Fulfillment and Delivery: We purchase, store, and distribute a wide range of products and supplies for use in home care, infusion clinics, or physician’s offices. Through careful inventory management, we minimize the potential for product shortages, and our delivery service is among the most timely and dependable.
  • 24-Hour Pharmacists: Our pharmacists are on call around the clock, available to speak with you and address any questions or concerns you may have—whether you have a question about dosage, need information or consultation regarding a treatment, or need to monitor side effects.
  • Experienced RN’s:  An experienced RN administers the first few treatments, while training and preparing the caregiver to provide continuing care.  The RN also educates the patient about their infusion therapy, so that they can actively participate in their treatments at home, and monitors the caregiver’s readiness to provide ongoing care and administration of the treatments.
  • Insurance Processing: IV Med Services manages prescription drug benefit research, claim filing, and collection of reimbursements, so that you don’t have to.
  • Dependable Scheduling: Our experienced infusion nurses are assigned to a limited number of cases.  This careful coordination allows for flexible scheduling to meet your needs, and ensures the highest level of dependability.
